Hello from not so sunny California!
We are here...a little tired....but having a great time!
We are sorry we are behind in blogging but it has been go, go, go here and not a lot of time spent in the hotel room! Our first morning here we were woken up by a little earthquake so that got us off to a bit of a shaky start....pun intended! It was a nice treat to have so many friends from home this year join us in California (a lot of the gals were here for Art Venture).
We had a fabulous two days with Prima at Art Venture. We made some beautiful projects but need to finish a couple of them before we can take photos and share them with you. We are worrying just a little bit about how to get all the goodies back home as 50 pounds adds up fast in a suitcase! We are also worried that the hotel cleaning staff may think we are shopaholics ;)
CHA has been very busy - we took some great classes on Friday, spent yesterday window shopping, but got down to some serious business today! Some of our favourites so far have been
- The new releases for the Minc Machine that will take it to a whole new level...including some Mixed Media possibilities (Cori-Lyn got a little excited over this!)
- super cute new shaker cards, dies and stamps from Jillibean Soup
- Simple Stories planner goodies
- All things Tim (yep...ALL)
- Graphic 45 releases
- Lawn Fawn new releases (SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute)
- a new stamp company that we are really excited about
We were really lucky to get to meet up with some of our scrappy friends down here - including Frank Garcia and Jim Hankins. We have made some plans for their upcoming classes and we are really excited to open that up once we get back!
